Zhen Kitchen Knives and Baby Liberty Spoons

This project is finishing up all the knife and spoon blanks I had left...It may be more then 10yrs ago I made an entire set of Zhen knives plus a dozen more individual ones, like the big Chef, the Santoku and the Nakiri...Of all the different types of knives I find myself using a Santoku the most...

The Baby Liberty spoons were also left over from a while ago and I previously made only 2 of them...They do make a special spoon "for the baby" or a great tea spoon...You can find the plain spoon on-line...

I apologize that the pictures aren't better...All are better than they appear... And then again nothing is perfect...

Carving Set...Desert Ironwood handles with mosaic pins... These are a "Prestige Cutlery" kit...the carver is 9-1/2" and the fork is heavy duty...a very nice set...sourced from Jantz Knife Supply

Sally Martin Mosaic Pins... She makes the nicest pins... this is just one example... 1/4" brass tube w/  (4) 1/32" brass pins and 5/32" square tube...inside the square tube are (4) 1/32" brass pins and a 3/32" brass tube w/ blue epoxy... a lot of work and worth the cost of about $3 an inch and 3" needed per knife... — Sally Martin Mosaic Pins...
